He is currently the director of the documentary photography project called Salut au monde! which started in February 2019 in Porto. He served as the Director General for San Sebastián 2016 European Capital of Culture and previously managed cultural venues in Madrid such as Matadero Madrid (2008-2012) and Centro Conde Duque (2013). He was the director of the International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts PhotoEspaña between 2003 and 2006. He is currently a professor of Planning and Management of Cultural Projects in the Curatorial Studies program at the University of Navarra. He also collaborates as a consultant on various cultural projects in Spain and Portugal.
