João Ana (Moçâmedes, 1979) is an artist, musician and producer. As an artist, he works in a wide field, with broad aesthetic, temporal and latitudinal influences: installation, performance, scenography, music, video, cinema, production, curating and text. He studied New Communication Technologies in Aveiro (2001-2009). He took part as a guest (Sala da Nação) in the Lisbon Architecture Triennale with the performance "Celebrating Life by Slowing Down Perception" (2013). He worked for Rede Angola as a video producer/editor and journalist (2014-2016). Co-founder of the artist collective "Fuckin' Globo", where he has participated as an artist, co-curator (2017) and producer of multiple editions (2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018), a project that takes place in Luanda and is the result of the collaboration of a collective of artists. He was set designer for the play "Die Wahre Geschichte" at the JTW (Jugend Theather Werkstatt) in Spandau, Berlin (2019).
